Ust - Lensky Reserve.

Lena - one of the greatest river of northern Central Siberia.  Lena Delta Wildlife Reserve is a “scientific nature reserve") located in the delta of the Lena River in Sakha Republic, in the far north of eastern Siberia, Russia. It has a total land area of 61,000 square kilometres (23,552 sq mi), making it the largest protected area in Russia. The delta itself has a size of about 30,000 square kilometres (11,583 sq mi), making it one of the largest of the world. It protects large concentrations of birds, including swans, geese, and ducks, loons, shorebirds, raptors and gulls. It is also an important fish spawning site.

Day 1

00:30 - Departure to Tiksi from Moscow (Vnukovo).
12:30 - Arrival to Tiksi. Hotel accommodation, acclimatization. Making border formalities. 

Day 2

Air transfer to Bobrovy Island by helicopter (45 minutes).

Day 3

Visiting the neighboring islands. Here you can see the main types of birds of East Siberian Arctic tundra.

Day 4

Visiting the neighboring islands.  You can see  the main inhabitant of the tundra - Siberian lemming, foxes and reindeer. There is a unique chance to taste the Siberian fish.

Day 5 Visiting the neighboring islands.

Day 8

Air transfer by helicopter  to the Biological Station Lena-Nordensheld. Close to Lena there is the Kharaulakh Mountains.

Day 9

The first day on the station Nordensheld. Watching the wildlife.

Day 10 The second day on the station.
Day 11 The third day on the station.
Day 12 The fourth day on the station.
Day 13

Sea trip to Tiksi. Guest house accommodation.

Day 14

15:00 Departure from Tiksi to Moscow.
 

 

Necessary  to take warm clothes-Polar fleece jacket, pants, underwear (2 sets) and waterproofjacket, hiking clothing made from natural fabrics,good shoes,high boots. Trekking stick.
Basin, spoon, cup, knife, water bottle and a folding chair (or smth to sit),
sunscreen and chapping cream,  mosquito cream and flashlight.
