Flora is typical to beringiyskaya forest-tundra, with pronounced altitude zoning.

Fauna is diverse. Most numerous predatory mammals are brown bear and fox. There is a lot of wolf, sable, glutton, ermine, least weasel, river otter, Arctic suslik, elk, bighorn sheep/ the endemic subspecies of it/ in the reserve.

Bering Sea is known for big arctic ice migrations to the south with polar bears on them. Korfa bay is reputable fattening ground for walrus.

There are birds’ colonies of white mouth loon, pacific brent, lesser white-fronted goose, Aleut sea-swallow and others on coastal cliffs of Bering sea. They are playgrounds for sea mammals such as sea otter and sea lion.
